Toki no Kane was first built between 1627 and 1634, and was rebuilt several times.It’s the symbol in Kaawgoe, telling the time. You can listen to the sound of the bell for times in a day. It is registered as one of “100 Best Soundscapes to keep in Japan”. The closest bus stops are “Ichibangai” (Tobu Bus)(Koedo Meisho Meguri Bus)(1 minute’s walk) and “Kura-no-Machi”(Koedo Round Bus)(1 minute’s walk):bus from “Honkawagoe”train station(Seibu Shinjuku Line) or “Kawagoe” train station(Tobu Tojo Line).
