No one would never miss the view of the Sea Candle, a 60 meters high lighthouse as well as an observation tower which is built as a symbolic tower of Shonan area. Located inside of Samuel Cocking Garden, it boasts beautiful and excellent scenery both outside and from inside. Visitors will enjoy full of flowers in a lovely botanical garden which belongs to the former residence of Samuel Cocking, a British trader in Meiji era who loved Enoshima and once owned the most part of there. Surrounded by beautiful flowers, there stands the Sea Candle offers visitors a magnificent panoramic view of Mt Fuji overlooking Izu Peninsula, Hakone and Mt Tanzawa together from the observation room. A not-to-miss moment is in the evening when the tower is illuminated in different colors depending on the season, which is definitely fantastic and is popular from many repeat visitors.
